On October 24, 1948 youth and adults gathered together to dedicate Lutheran Memorial Camp, to the Glory of God, in the memory those who served in WWII, for the purpose of providing a camp for Lutheran youth to grow in their faith. We will gather to celebrate 60 years of ministry with a pot luck, worship and time for reminiscing. Bring your favorite dish to share, pictures and stories. A free will
donation will be accepted during the event to support
camperships and facility improvement projects. Registrations
are not needed but please contact LMC and let them know if you
are planning to attend.
Are you looking for a unique setting for your Christmas or year-end banquets, appreciation luncheons, or family gatherings? We deck the halls with linen covered tables, candle light, and greenery with fires burning in the hearths. Select the menu entrees that satisfy your appetite! A wide range of options may be considered when you make your reservations. The schedule fills quickly so contact either host camp to make your reservation! There is a minimum group size of 15 people. Fresh Maple Syrup on your pancakes tastes “sooooooo” good! Take a walk with a naturalist to learn how to identify and tap the maples, then help to collect the sap. Allow the sugaring mist to waft your way from over the boiling sap. Then see if you can tell the difference between non-maple syrup and the “real McCoy”! Maple donuts and sassafras tea are other satisfying treats found over the open fire. Shop for crafts, baked goods and maple syrup. Reservations are not required. The cost for the meal is $6.50 for adults and $4.50 for children (5-12 yr). A walk through the woods is priceless! All proceeds benefit summer youth camperships. Sunday, March 8 at Lutheran Memorial Camp 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
