Day Camp registration begins October 27, 2008.  Registrations mailed in need to be postmarked no early than Oct. 27, 2008.  Thank you.  Space is limited.  Please register early.

Day Camp is a unique blend of outdoor ministry and congregational ministry. 
 

LOMO partners with your congregation to provide quality Christian education and outdoor ministry in your community.  LOMO Day Camp is an opportunity for your congregation to reach out to the families in your neighborhood.   By partnering with LOMO, we hope young campers will experience God's love for them through caring camp counselors and dynamic programming.  (Click here for photos and testimonials)

The LOMO Day Camp is designed for youth who have completed kindergarten through 6^th grade. 

Congregation provides:

The congregation decides their program needs based on the number of campers they expect to serve.  In addition to the fee for the program, the congregation also provides:

• Lodging and meals for the LOMO staff

• Adult volunteers to assist LOMO staff

• Daily snacks for the campers

• Supplemental craft supplies

LOMO provides:

• Enthusiastic, trained college age staff

• Christ centered program including: Bible studies, games, worship, nature activities,
  songs and crafts

• Most program materials including crafts and recreational supplies

LOMO Day Camp uses the ELCA outdoor ministries curriculum designed as a comprehensive program resource.  The curriculum is built around an annual theme selected by ELCA outdoor ministries. 

This resource provides camping ministries with a high quality program utilizing the expertise of writers who are professionals in outdoor ministries and youth ministries.

Day camps larger that 90 will pay an additional $600 for each additional 10 campers

Day camps that register prior to February 28, 2009:

• 10% non-refundable deposit is due with your completed registration form

• An additional 40% non-refundable fee is due February 28, 2009

• The remaining 50% non-refundable fee is due May 1, 2009.
